This book contains step-by-step instructions for teaching children the Bible lessons, Bible truths, and memory verses. Activities in each lesson are designed to include all learning styles as well as to address the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of first and second graders. All song sheets, craft and activity pages, and take-home card pages are included in the lesson books.

Lessons studied in Spring Quarter take children through the Resurrection story, beginning with Jesus praying in the garden to His appearing to the believers in the upper room, after His resurrection. Also included are lessons about Peter’s denial before Jesus’ death, and Jesus restoring him after the Resurrection.

For the Second Grade lessons, we encourage you, if at all possible, to provide enough copies of Condensed Bible Stories for Primaries so that each child (or at least two or three sharing a book) may follow along as you read the lesson.

The Second Grade curriculum is also suitable for first graders.
