Colorful labels, identified by picture, color, and grade level of the curriculum, may be attached to the extra books, flannel pictures, etc., to identify them as part of each grade’s curriculum. There is room to write your church’s name and address, if that is so desired.

This book contains step-by-step instructions for teaching children the Bible lessons, Bible truths, and memory verses. Activities in each lesson are designed to include all learning styles as well as to address the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of five and six year olds. All song sheets, craft and activity pages, and take-home pages are included in the lesson books.

Lessons studied in Spring Quarter include Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey, Jesus’ arrest, crucifixion, and resurrection, Naaman, Josiah, and Balaam. A review of Spring Quarter is also included.

These sturdy, laminated pictures, used to retell some of the lessons, are easily identified and can be safely handled by little children. Each lesson that includes flannel pictures has its own set. The first year they are used requires cutting out individual pictures and gluing a piece of felt to the back of each. After that, they are ready to be used year after year.

The Bible speaks of blessing words and cursing words. A young boy better understands the difference between “hugging” words and “slapping” words as he sees their effects on himself and others.
